These Workouts are not for you if you:
- Have never worked out on a regular basis before, and you ‘want to start a new life” - from the first of January, from Monday, after swimsuit shopping, after a break up, or after a terrifying doctor’s appointment, etc.
- Have a litany of circumstantial reasons why you can’t work out: 'I can't exercise because I don't have time, I have a bad knee, the gym is too far away, I hate exercise, I’m afraid of my muscles looking too bulky, I can't eat better because there's too much bad food where I work, I'm starving at night, I have to eat out with clients, etc.
- Are a man (sorry guys, this will be too hard for you :-)
- Are under 30 (this is not age discrimination; you are just not ready to take serious care of your body. You are likely still in the process of destroying it - drinking, having fun, studying into the wee hours of the night, and having your heart broken a few times). For you, the word “health“ is for old folks!
To start, you have to make this choice for yourself. Your “new life start“ won't begin until you decide for yourself that exercise is a priority. Once you’ve made it a priority, then the excuses will disappear; you'll go to bed earlier so you can wake up for a jog; you'll find a gym with a daycare center; you'll bring good food to work. Your goal should be to create a habit of working out - to make it part of your everyday life, like taking a shower or brushing your teeth - without asking questions like “Do I really need to?”
